Well, I know that a few soccer players have tested positively on drug tests because they were on Propecia, but I think it is allowed if you inform them about this beforehand.

tell them its a prostate problem, thats why u take finasteride:)

LOL- They'll have one of their doctors stick their finger up his *** to make sure.

You don't lie to the military.

Carboardbox- Can't you ask someone who can give you the correct answer like someone in the recruiter's office perhaps? I'm sure you can figure a way to do it anonymously...

man someone posted the same exact thing like last week.

problem is basic training. You get searched and all that and cant have pills unless perscription.

Other than that it doesnt matter, tests wont show you are taking finasteride.

military docs wont perscribe it to you, so no point reporting it.

if u get sent to iraq for 15 months. Have a doctor who is willing to refill it for you without a visit, then have drugstore.com call that Doctor, and drugstore.com will ship it you.

plus you arent going regular so you only play soldier like a few hours a month.

you can not take it during basic, and depending on your MOS you may be able to take it during AIT. The military has no problem with propecia as long as you have a prescription though they look at it as an unnecessary prescription. I can tell you right now though that if your looking at 11B (infantry) then no. You can not take propecia for the entire 13 weeks you'll be gone (plus at least 1 week at reception)

I asked my recruiter the same thing and this is what he said and he was right.
