FX's new and very awesome series "The Strain" is a really great twist on the whole vampire craze. The plot of the show aside, FX decided to allow Corey Stoll to lead the series as a doctor/investigator for the Center for Disease Control in New York. Corey Stoll is very well known for being a bald actor that crushes most of his roles, which have mostly been supporting roles in the past. Now, cast as the lead in a series, the studio has decided he has enough talent to do so... just not enough hair apparently. He is sporting a pretty bad hairpiece, and I very highly doubt it was his decision to do so. I guess it's just another sign that the world doesn't want to see a bald guy be the protagonist/hero because bald men are less intelligent, less attractive, and less empathetic. Here's a link about it, written by an angry bald guy - http://screencrush.com/the-strain-corey-stoll-hairpiece/

i think that might be his actual hair
look at his hairline in the second picture
it's the same

if anything, maybe he's using toppik or some sort of concealer

still balding with hairpiece
Well, we in the bald community can see that he has a decently receded hairline with the hairpiece, but he would not considered "bald" by any stretch by most people because the hair behind that hairline is thick.

It's definitely NOT his actual hair

The hairpiece looks like it's supposed to simulate the early stages of a receding hairline (NW2-3) but the front and sides are way too thick for that so it's pretty obvious it's fake.

Come on dude, you are talking nonsense. Yes, a bald man may be regarded as unattractive, but "less inteligent"?
What do looks have to do with "intelligence"? Are you serious?
Anyone who thinks a bald man is less inteligent is dumb as hell, sorry to say that.

Maybe not directly thought of as less intelligent, but since attractive people are overall considered more intelligent -- many a study has been done on the subject -- bald men by proxy of being considered less attractive are also then viewed as less intelligent.
