Another guy who copes with 'muh stress' instead of acknowledging the fact that it's genetic. Also,

"The star says the procedure is like a woman 'getting a boob job'"

What kind of comparison is this? Hair transplant restores your natural look, boobs don't just shrink out of nowhere, and even if that was the case, it wouldn't be as much of a looks killer as balding.

So misinformed.. of course his hair is gonna recede behind the transplant, bc he's ignorant as f***.

You pretty much nailed my thoughts about the Corrie star, I had seen this appear on my feed. It's amazing how people have to lie to themselves, he just can't admit his genetics were not great hair wise even if it's not something crazy like aggressive premature loss. I think he started to realise his looks will significantly go down with further hair loss and he's always been into himself a fair bit/enjoying life as well as needing hair for acting roles. I saw someone write he should focus on his kids, lol well taking care of himself and being happy means he'll be a better, younger looking and energetic/cooler Dad. He chose a good time to act at the right age and type of loss being mainly at the front so should get a good result. But yeah, this ignorance could bite him in the ***, I mean if he's not on meds AND suddenly gets aggressive loss which can't be covered with his donor, he won't look good. A pretty good candidate otherwise for hair transplants.

Personally I think he knows it's genetic hair loss but he's playing up to the public by making it seem there is more to it and down playing his genetics, possibly lying to himself in the process a little. Deliberate fog.

I see hair transplants as a restoration process like a heart valve prosthesis or scar removal, in other words correcting a problem. True cosmetic surgery implies a change from something that is otherwise normal and working well.

love how hairloss supposedly caused by stress exactly follows the norwood hairloss patern

you would assume hairloss caused by stress, thyroid whatever appeares everywhere including the sides and back and not just in the front

Stress doesnt cause the male pattern baldness hairloss, but if you're under severe stress it can speed it up a bit

His comment, "It is such a common thing for guys to have now, like a male version of the boob job" is just for the public. It's possible that his hair loss was accelerated by stress/insomnia but I have no doubt that his surgeon Dr. Shahmalak told him that he has male pattern baldness. It's possible that he was told to start taking propecia. I don't ever expect him to openly admit it, if that were true, considering his recent comments.

This dude has been playing the comb over game. He knows. He will blame it on stress or on insomnia but we know it's horse sh*t.

Weird that he gets a new GF and then had this done

Stress caused a symmetrical pattern of hair loss? Sounds feasible.

OMG this dude is thinning/receding in the center-front of his hairline just like me. It's a very unusual thing. Guys can get away with a good deal of temple recession as long as that center front (I think it's called a "forelock" holds, but when your entire hairline recedes, including the center, and the center is thinning significantly more than the hair to the left/right of it, it's a brutal, unhealthy look.

Hair transplants seem to work very well with that type of loss. You're unlucky to have any type of hair loss but lucky that only needing grafts in that area typically looks great.

That's an ugly and obvious comb over. Should have cut the sides short and done a side part (even if it reveals one corner, looks way better) or a caesar cut.

This just looks weird, I saw him on TV the other week and I couldn’t stop looking at that.

No, I don't only have loss in that area. I have diffuse retrograde alopecia, so I'm pretty much fucked all over, including a huge vertex bald spot and shitty donor.
