I use two steroids for my skin, one is generally mild (.02%) and the other is .05% -- I only use the .05% about once a week. The mild one I use daily. I need to use these for eczema on my skin. Is it likely that these are contributing to my hairloss? Or is steroid-based hairloss only on anabolic steroids and at high dosages? Thanks.

If your losing your hair and your taking steroid then I would bet it's the drugs that is causing the lose. I would stop taking it and hopefully the steroid did not do that much damage to your hair.

actionpack is confusing anabolic steroids with anti-inflammatory steroids. i VERY HIGHLY doubt that you are losing hair due to the use of a topical anti-inflammatory steroid. if you are using it on your scalp, however, who knows?

No i'm not using them on my scalp, i'm using them on my hands. I doubted that they were impacting my hairloss, but I looked at the "potential side effects" and it said "folliculitis" was a potential side effect. I believe that is hair miniturization. Either way, I can't really quit the treatment.
