I had this same issue a few months back but with a pre-workout formula (with added creatine in it)I was first using Launch 4 x week by SAN and experienced a shed.I then reduced it to twice a week and the shed stopped? Then I tried jack3d but tbh it didnt do sh*t for me.

NOW im using Black Powder for the last month or so and my results have been awsome.. No sheeding infact my hair has thickened up :dunno: Ive also added a good BCAA mix intra workout and im thinking if that also plays a positive effect on my hair? Or it may just be the 15% minoxidil that has kicked in after 6 months of use?

Anyways, i had the same concern as you and i was very skeptic after reading diff reviews online but using BP so far is giving me size and strength with no shed.

I don't think weight training with legal supplements can have any noticeable effect on hair loss.

I don't say it doesn't have any effect, but it is probably minimum and the same hormonal changes can be triggered by many other things. At the end of the day is all genetic, but if you want to micro manage your life...

Do you have the link to the study?

I started Creatine about a month ago, and went on with the regular 5mg dose for about 3-4 weeks. Over this time, I noticed that my hair thinned out alot faster than the pace that it had been going at which was hardly anything. I am a diffuse thinner, but I do believe Creatine might have had a hand in it because of its DHT effects.

FWIW, I took creatine on and off all throughout my 20's. It never caused any type of hair loss whatsoever.

anything new regarding this topic?

that one study [ http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19741313 ] pretty much says yes with a ~50% increase.

but at the same time, 'Will Brink' says:

"There was a single study in soccer players I recall that found the effect, and it was not a very well done study that that. No study before or after has ever found the effect on DHT, nor would I expect them to. It’s a non issues people really need to let go of and move on… "

hmmm.
