Question to those with more experience with finasteride...

Since it’s been almost 5 months and my hair has went to sh*t this whole time, is it still too early to conclude that I’m a nonresponder?

I’m still shedding hair, about 20 in the shower (which is an improvement) but I can feel my hair get worse week to week.

Any stories from you guys that were in a similar position?

Dude, to be honest that doesn't sound good. Either your hair loss is so aggressive that the current dosage isn't enough. Or, you just aren't a responder to finasteride as a whole. I'm looking at my ForHims Usage card that comes with my prescription; 3-4 months on average to reveal improvement.

That's what makes this so damn difficult. For some improvement comes at 3 months or even less...others have hair go to sh*t only to recover and actually improve around a year; yet some unlucky souls never turn the corner. I'm practically in the same situ as OP; 4 months in and NOTHING good. Do I get on dutasteride now or wait a full 12 months? Will there be any hair to save in 12 months? So looking forward to the day where I don't think about hair 75% of the time. Uggghhh!!!

Dude, tell me about. I'm exhausted thinking about hair all day long. I wouldn't touch duta as of right now. If I were in your shoes, I'd honestly revisit that thought in February of 2019. I know you may be skeptical, but give Trinov (Brotzu) a shot when it release combined with finasteride. In the meantime; take up dermastamping.

Lol. With all the hair I’ve lost the past few months I should be bald. Obviously some of it’s growing back.

I am losing less now so maybe it is doing something.

I’ve seen a few threads where people’s hair went to sh*t for like 5 months and returned so maybe I can be one of those dudes.

If not, hair system is my next choice. I’m not going to be a bald 22 year old. Idgaf

Its your obsession that makes you feel that way. I know hairs are important part of personality .it I didn't think so I wouldn't be here.
Okay, how about we synchronously rid ourselves of this limiting human form via noose. Lets digitize our existence, and live on through a holographic form factor. We would hope for it to be developed sometime in late 2074 with the release of projecting recess light fixtures for homes. Downside to this, would be that we can only access locations with said projectors, till companies offer us a mobility feature. In the mean time, we can wait in a cloud based storage mainframe queue, with a physical data center located on the mid portion of the ISS.

How does that sound Mandar? Not too far from what you've previously stated.

@CrownBalding I compared your photos and I think that your hair looks about the same, considering that there is more light on the right photo.
