Use minoxidil. I'm 24 and my face is less winkled than all my peers' face.

You realise that almost all medications taken orally that exists would take at least a few days to have an effect, so 5% solution that you put to your scalp twice could not possibly have that effect. You must simply be tired on the after picture.

Tell me, had you read about minoxidil giving dark circles before posting that here? Be honest.

Yes honestly I read about it and truth is I thought it was in everyone's mind. However I'm 100% sure its the minoxidil as I didn't take any last night and my eyes are normal this morning despite only 5-6 hours of sleep.

I could literally see some big purple veins near the surface yesterday, today I can't. I'm gonna try again tonight and see what happens. I know you're a full believer in it all being mental, and so was I before I tried it, but its not for me (I now think it must be rare). I do have damaged skin from months of prednisone use due to crohns (thinned out my skin), so that may be why the effects are more noticeable on me.

It might be that you're allergic. If I was you I would not take any now. Wait longer, then take a much smaller amount, say half or a quarter of the recommended amount. See how that goes. If you still feel that you are getting negative sides, stop completely.

If I was allergic wouldn't I have a at the site reaction? Scalp doesn't itch or anything when I apply

What you're saying would be considered an allergic reaction. Like the above poster mentioned, you should't be experiencing such issues from very early application. There's no set reaction when you're allergic and it may come in different forms.

Saying that, you might be stressing over something that isn't the minoxidil. Wait for a week or even longer and give it a try at a smaller dose. I would think (although I have no numbers to back this) that an allergic reaction is relatively rare.

I got black circles almost immediately both times I tried minoxidil, 1st time I quit right away, this time I have been on for 3.5 months, cut it down to 1x a day and at 1st still got the raccoon eyes but I don't anymore, I can use it 2x a day 2-4 days a week now so I think for some it just takes a little getting used too. I also reduced the amount I put on at 1st. And it was definitely the minoxidil and not in my head.

I just looked at your pics and my eyed were a lot worse just fyi, it literally looked like I had 2 black eyes so I wouldn't give up, just adjust the amount and/or frequency

So I used rogaine last night again after changing my pillow and waiting this time an hour before laying on it. No circles this morning. Then again I drank a lot of water yesterday too, so who knows. Maybe I was dehydrated. Maybe it was getting on my pillow. Let's see what happens tomorrow.

If you decide to continue use of the treatment and see more wrinkles, you can try microdermabrasion. I've had a lot of success with this and it literally makes your fine lines and wrinkles disappear for a more youthful appearance.
