Regarding the original topic: If the baldness starts late (40s) then it wont be an issue as children would already have been made by then. For young baldites, it is going to be an issue. The mating power of a young baldite is now lower. Which means that the young bald gene will be passed along with other unaesthetic traits -- as baldites can now mostly only attract non-pretty women, so the bald gene will combine with the ugly genes of the woman. And the really ugly baldites will not be able to reproduce. What this means is that over time, the percentage of young baldites will go down, and moreover the young baldites who manage to be created will be uglier.
