Regarding the original topic: If the baldness starts late (40s) then it wont be an issue as children would already have been made by then. For young baldites, it is going to be an issue. The mating power of a young baldite is now lower. Which means that the young bald gene will be passed along with other unaesthetic traits -- as baldites can now mostly only attract non-pretty women, so the bald gene will combine with the ugly genes of the woman. And the really ugly baldites will not be able to reproduce. What this means is that over time, the percentage of young baldites will go down, and moreover the young baldites who manage to be created will be uglier.

Even today in some cultures it is said that bald men have more testosterone, and thus women feel that and so bald men have more success in women.
And let's be realistic, many girls have a bald father, so they're used to the look since childhood, these may not mind having a bald husband.

Stop pretending these ideas that if you don't have NW0 thick hair you are automatically ugly, and if you have it, you are automatically good-looking. There are tons of ugly guys with NW0-s, the presence of good hair doesn't make you a male model , and here we discuss only about looks. Because you can look as Bradd-pitt or whatever, but if you have no personality, no decent girl is going to stay with you on long-term.

The truth is that baldness is timelessly ugly, it has always been seen as a handicap, something that make you less than other, and it always will be.

Even 35 is an age when you can look really good, and hair makes the difference there. A lot of young 26-28 hotties like to date guys over 35. Of course, these guys have to look good, and have a perfect hairline.

That's the misconception. You have to do it the other way, look for hot girls, and count how many are walking along an NW4+ bald guy. You'll realize the sad truth: the great majority of hot girls don't have bald boyfriends. And when you finally find that needle in the haystack, there is also a great chance of a not so surprising story behind them, such as meeting before the guy went bald.

By the way, I used to be one of those bald guys with a hot girl, but guess what, we had met way before my balding started.

So this got me really curious, do you guys think that in western cultures the percentage of bald men is only going to get lower?

You can think yes, Since appearance is playing a bigger role now and we all know that women especially while they are young see baldness as a no (combine that with another no and game over). So that means they probably wouldn't reproduce and the gene won't pass on.

On the either hand no. When they age they want to settle with someone who wouldn't leave them and so they can choose a bald guy and if the bald guy who had a hard time with his shiny scalp is ignorant enough to pass it on then the cycle continues. Note, I am not saying that bald men don't have the right to have children but that he shouldn't do it for the child's sake.

So, what do you guys think about the future of young bald men. Also assume that there will never be a cure.

I think ultimately no; some women marry a guy with a full head of hair who eventually goes bald. Also your point about women getting older and becoming less shallow is very true.

Agree, but that's the problem with baldness. In just a couple years you have to go from dating hot girls to aiming to fatties and old divorced women. And it's not like everyone else changed, my friends are still looking the same, and are dating still the same type of girls --girls that were below my league a few years ago, and now they won't give me the time of the day. My ex girlfriends all look the same, you can see they aged a few years but they have just become 27 year old hotties.

People haven't really changed, only 10% of guys bald before 30, and even fewer get to NW5 before that age. Seeing how you are virtually eliminated from your social circles, and how you lose all your sexual appeal --basically overnight-- is not fun.

It blows my mind why these guys who look way better than me would date such unappealing looking women, I know it's the interior that counts but the problem is that they don't look that pretty mentally either hence my question.

75% of guys before 30 haven't even started balding, which doesn't leave each one with a hot girl. Also, girls have raised their standards, which makes dating hard even for attractive guys.

No wonder it's hell for a baldite. I have given up on dating for now, while I'm on treatment. Waste of time to even try.

most of the time a regular guy will settle down with a lesser attractive woman. Its a control and safety thing I believe. They know
1) the woman will be more compliant and grateful
2) probably be a better mother and willing to settle in instead of wanting to party
3) less of a chance of them being unfaithful and leaving taking half of your EVERYTHING
4) plenty more.
