Agreed with both sides of the arguments for the most part.

Booster was suicidal before finasteride (which I assume is the case for a lot of these hypochondriac Pfsers) so please take what he says with 5 tablespoons of salt.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, users run around the forum saying finasteride is toxic, it's shaking hands with th devil and etc. But then like @Notcoolanymore said they'll go and buy a chemical that is SUPPOSED to be RU which side effect is death and heart problems and run around screaming how they found a better alternative.

Seems like most members rather not hear the truth. I'm happy with finasteride myself, after almost 6 months sides are sooo minimal(my refractory period took a little bit of a hit), but unfortunately it's intended effect isn't happening for me

Yes if I do get sides it would suck man, but I wouldn't spend my days suffering on a forum. There are many many things to try and fix the problems and it seems like all you wanna do is spread nonsense.

It ain't nonsense brother. I'm currently getting treated by an endocrinologist with massive hormonal irregularities. Some he has never even seen before.

There are a subset of men getting completely annihilated by finasteride.

Some men have a genetic susceptibility to androgen receptor damage.

Where others tolerate the drug with great success.

Do you mind sharing the hormonal irregularities he noticed? Could be useful to some people in your position, or to anyone who wants to be wary and get blood panels while on finasteride

High testosterone, extremely low free testosterone, high estrogen, sky high cortisol, dhea levels out of whack, extremely low androstenedione, FSH ridiculously high, very low LH, depleted vitamin D levels, extremely low DHT, high shbg, low progesterone.

I would at least recommend baseline hormonal levels before even considering finasteride.

If you don't and things go terribly wrong in my case at least you have a baseline.

Yeah i took both pre finasteride levels and post finasteride levels. Seems like my estrogen, free test and test shot the f*** up.. my estro is a couple points higher than high end reference range. But since my test and free test is high the Doctor says the ratios are fine.

Weird though in your case, because so many pfsers seem to have fine hormonal panels, isnt that the whole mystery of pfs?

Anyways, you're better off than most because your bloods tell you whats going on, now you gotta find a way to regulate your hormones and lead them back to pre finasteride levels, i think you'll achieve it sooner than you think. good luck.
