Did I Lose Hair On Two Months Of Finasteride?

[Questions]

I started finasteride 1mg in the beginning of December, and I’m not sure if I lost more hair or if it stayed the same. If I did lose hair, will it grow back? I’m eighteen and I don’t want it to get any worse. I also started using a 0.25 dermaroller, although I was already using minoxidil for a few months before that. What do you think? Sorry for the blurriness of the first picture, but I think you can tell how bad it looks even though the bathroom lighting made it look even worse.

Should I keep doing the dermarolling + minoxidil or go up to the .5 needle? I know I haven’t been on finasteride for that long, but I’m so fixated on whether I’m having reflex hyperandrogenicity or not (although nothing has really changed internally as far as I can tell). I still have the acne and oily skin that I had before I started finasteride, but some people say it doesn’t work on the form of dht that causes that. I’m also still not done puberty since I turned eighteen not that long ago. I don’t know what to do or think.

Am i looking at the wrong photos? From november to now it looks like you've had a considerable improvment. Your temples are filling in and you can even see where you're getting extra hair from your eyebrows. Minoxidil is clearly doing something.

I think you have the illusion that its getting worse because new hairs look weak so it looks like miniaturisation.

I think you’re right, it probably is just an illusion because of the smaller hairs growing. Thank you, I just hope I can maintain this for a long time since I’m young

You don't seem to have lost any hair.. Definitely not gained any but none seems to be lost.. Are you shedding? Than can distort your view of how treatment is working.

Dude how is your hair now my hair also became worse when i started i have 90% reflex hyper am on 4 month and my hair is became so much thinner especialy on the sides and back any tips for me ? Am getting of the drugs did you goth off of it ??
