Difficulty applying Rogaine foam for long'ish' hair

Ok, it is significatnly easier to apply the foam to the areas my hair is thinnest, but I find it somewhat difficult to apply it to the other areas on the top of my head (I worry about it getting to all places on my scalp), particularly because my hair is a bit long. My hair has certainly thinned in those areas but it is still more difficult.

Anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of wetting my hair a bit since my scalp is a great deal more exposed after that. It also seems to apply it to all the top of my head will require at least a full cap full of the foam rather than the simple half cap.

if u have longish hair i think it would be best to use minoxidil liquid rather than foam. U simply part ur hair in various places and apply it to the scalp. Thats wot i do.

Thanks for the replies. I switched over to liquid.

How do you manage to get it to all of the scalp with the hair parting? I imagine part it down the middle (like bald mohawk/ lengthwise parts) Do you rub it in to make sure it is distributed more than just on the part? Do you wet your hair?
