Dissolving finasteride in a liquid to take orally

Not very good at cutting proscar pills and I want to take a low dose of finasteride, perhaps 0.25 to 0.5mg.

I remember reading that some people dissolved proscar tablets into a liquid and then drink some of it each day. Could anyone tell me what liquid they used and the ratio of pills to liquid?
