I’m an avid golfer and I love the sport but part of the requirements of the sport is too wear a cap most of the time to avoid sunburn. What bothers me is that I see many bald or balding pro golfers on tv and a lot are quite young. The only exceptions are players with Norwood 0s like tommy fleet wood. Many websites say caps don’t cause baldness. What is your guys’ take on this topic?

This a classic case of causation/correlation.
There's no scientific data behind this so don't worry. If anything caps/hats (with the right material) protect your hair from the damaging sun rays and there's actual science behind this.

Hats/caps do not cause baldness. There is no evidence that they do. I have friends who wear them everyday who have thick heads of hair.

I do think that caps worn too tightly are a cause or too loosely for golfers are also a cause. When I play with a loose fitting cap I can feel the cap turning after I swing which may cause ripping or pulling
