I've read on another forum that if you have kept all of your hair until 30, your basically safe from hair loss or any significant hair loss due the to the fact testosterone reduces when you hit 30 therefore dht levels also reduce. Is this true?

DHT is not the only factor in hair loss. Even with lower values, your body could raise follicles sensitivity to androgens, which means extensive hair loss (not sure about this).

No...Around 30, T starts to decline and DHT rises. There are plenty of guys experiencing significant hair loss in their late 20s, early 30s.

It does seem odd that T would lower and DHT would increase since DHT is the conversion of T by those enzymes. I guess we are talking about absolute T levels and not free T
