Hi all. I've been losing my hair for a few years now. I've gone to two doctors in the last six years since I noticed my hair loss and both said my hair looks good. I'll be going to a third soon, but I wanted to get your opinions. My hairline hasn't receded since I was 18 (I'm 28 now), but it has gotten thinner to the point where my scalp can be seen. It even looks like I've lost a bit of hair from the back of my head, which I read is supposed to be resistant to hair loss. Is this male pattern baldness or could it be another condition? Some of my hair is turning white too.

hi what did your doctor say about your hair loss pattern? it looks like you are losing hair all over, front, top, back and sides. It could be diffuse thinning but I wouldn't know it for sure. Are you on any medication?

I would see a dermatologist if you haven't already because you are thinning also in areas that aren't related to male pattern baldness

The two doctors I did see my hair looks good. My blood work was fine too. I don't take any medication, just use Rogaine up front.

I'm going to be seeing a third doctor soon. Will ask for a referral.
