Do natural postpartum hair products really work or are they hype?

Hi everyone,

I’m 6 months postpartum and still dealing with a lot of hair shedding. I’ve seen tons of ads and social posts pushing "natural" postpartum hair products, but I’m wondering… do any of them actually work?

Have any of you tried products that are free of harsh chemicals but still helped with regrowth? Especially something safe while breastfeeding?

Would love to hear real experiences.

Hey mama, I’ve been in the exact same boat. I was super skeptical about “natural” postpartum products too, but I also didn’t want to risk anything harsh while breastfeeding.

What helped me was finding a routine I could actually stick to — I started using Evavitae, which is gentle and designed specifically for postpartum moms. It’s free of sulfates and synthetic fragrances, and it didn’t mess with my scalp or milk supply. I also did scalp massages with diluted rosemary oil 2–3 times a week, wrapped my hair at night, and just gave myself a lot of grace.

It wasn’t an overnight fix, but I started seeing baby hairs come back in by month 3 of being consistent. You’re not alone in this — it really does get better
