These things don't work for bald guys. If you don't believe me, just shave a NW6 pattern into your head and try it yourself. I'm sure that most guys believed this stuff until they tried it. I've done all of this. Get in shape, dress well, take up some interesting hobbies, improve social skills by making more friends and work hard in your career. The same is true, I believe, for a lot of bald guys on this forum. I really think that most actual 'incel' guys are regular hardworking, interesting and passionate guys who just aren't attractive enough. We only hear from the vocal, deranged incels though. That's why I think that a bald guy being able to settle or maintain a relationship by being a provider is doing way better than he can expect.

I felt the most liberated I've ever felt shaving off my hair 6~ months ago, it gave me a completely different outlook on hairloss. Granted I'm still a nw2.5 with mild diffuse thinning, but I had never shaved my head before and it was terrifying to worry about what I'll look like when I shave it finally. Took it down to a 0, didn't look bad at all and suited me pretty well with my current beard.

Now I grew it back out and I'll continue to fight hairloss when I can, but when its time to shave, meh, I'll deal with it just fine.

From what I gather from guys that shaved their heads: at the very least, you know what the worst case scenario is and it brings some comfort. And while its not the desired outcome, its not the nightmare you probably imagined it to be. This is just the majority though, I'm sure about 10% of guys out there probably do look really bad bald, and 5% who actually look better bald.
