Do some people have to wait longer than 12 months?

Is that "yes" to be backed up with any reasoning? I think that is what he was looking for...

as in, did it continue to recede/bald or did your hair just get thinner? After a lot of my side effects subsided (relative), my hair suddenly got really brittle. All of my hair within 1 month. has the same happened toyoU?

From what I have seen, it is said that most will BEGIN to see results in 12 months.

So that means that at 12 months others will have not yet seen results.

So if you would like to keep taking Propecia, you may still see results. Or perhaps not.

That is the thing with medication. It doesn't work the same way exactly for everyone.

This is what you will read if you research it on your own the way I did for 2 years before I decided to stop going bald.

Good Luck,
Joe.

I'm just gonna keep taking it.. even though I can't be certain (as of yet.. even well over a year into it), if it's helping me or not.

Can't hurt, I suspect.. no sides ever, so why not?!

I'm going to add minoxidil soon though. :/ .. even though I dread the thought of the irritation that may occur .. my scalp is in good shape now so, I'm nervous about minoxidil.

I think many of you forget that yes finasteride has a 90% succes rate but that does not only include people who obtained a large amount of regrowth and any regrowth for that matter but also those who just maintained or slowed further loss. not all of us can expect regrothw espessially without a stimulant.the most you should hope for is maintence or a slower progression into the beloved horseshoe. If your in your twenties and have hairloss you will be bald one day hopefully the meds will help us ease into it with some class without the shock of goin bald in a a year or two.Im not tryin to be negative but this is the sad truth for many of us.AS I said before the bic is a option for all of us any many a last resort.I would obviously rather hair but if the med dont work make sure you have a plan B.

I think I'm going to add minoxidil soon, to get that 'synergistic' effect.
