I think treating this as a hobby is much healthier than treating it as a "do or die" proposition. At month 2 on dutasteride i have realized that my hair looks like crap (worse) and that I have little confidence in improvement. It could happen, and I will be pleased if it does, but my enthusiasm and hope are giving way to an an understanding that my hair may very well continue to change for the worse. I have experienced that, focused on it, imagined the worst and panicked... However am starting to realize that though my appearance may very well change for the worse I will still be me. I will still function. And this will not be an issue that has to makes my life unbearable. If it does it will not be because of how I look to others, but because of how I see myself and how I act to others. Those are things that I can learn to control. My hopes for improvement are guarded, but I will continue treatments for the recommended duration and longer... for the delay of progression and for the hope that it brings. But I will not do it in desparation... rather, I will do it as a "hobby."

anyone else here thinks that having a regimen for hairloss SUCKS... I mean, to keep hair we have to do what we gotta do... but it's a pain, especially for those who are using Minoxidil religously.

it makes me feel giddy sometimes thinking about the hair i'm saving and/or growing.
