Hello, So as you see from the title I am wondering if I am going bald at the age of 14. The back of my head (the crown) seems like its thinning out but my hairline is not receding at all. My mom and dad both have a full head of hair. My dads side of the family all have a great hair but my moms side has like 50/50 on good hair and bald. All my siblings have good hair. I was just wondering on if I am going bald (you can see from the back of my head and on the top)View attachment 94671 View attachment 94672 View attachment 94673

Can you send a picture of your hairline with your hair pushed back so we can analyse the temple area. This is most likely some problem within you rather than male pattern baldness but it could be male pattern baldness Aswell.

Massive face palm, thought you was the thread starter. But thanks for sharing your hairline which can help me analyse myself in a way!
Whats massive face palm? How would it help you analyse your hairline

Lad, can you please send a picture of your temple area which will give us all a good indication on your hairline, which could help us further try to diagnose this as male pattern baldness Or another condition. This looks to be something is wrong with your inside and should be shown to a doctor or dermatologist.

If I use that do you think it’s going to stop it? Like I’m literally only 14 and stressing about this way to much now

I think what he meant is that its much rarer for a 14 yo to be thinning (more-so at the crown) than his hair loss to be related to something like a deficiency

From these pics it looks like you still have a juvenile hairline with rounded temples. Did your blood test show a major vit D deficiency?
Who are you talking about ? I’m so lost since someone else is talking about there balding on my thread

I guess it helped but i stopped because it was causing bad acne otherwise 0 sides
Unfortunately, I am currently taking isotretinoin for acne so it's a meh situation. I plan to speak to my dermatologist next time I have to have an appointment with him about my hair recession. Hoping it's just a mature hairline :/
I can't take it currently as I am only 16 anyway. But the sexual side effects worries me as I want to be able to get off and up and stuff.

Can you please make another thread about that, I need help with my situation and you coming in with yours isn’t helping. Thank you

Sorry I got confused which resulted in additional convos.

I highly suggest you go and see a doctor ASAP.
I can give yiu natural tips that may help - it won't stop it.

Obvs a good diet and a good lifestyle will help.
You can massage you head with oils that help strengthen and thicken hair follicles.
Such as : coconut oil and caster oil.

You could also invest in caffeine shampoo.

Biotin supplements may help.

The thinning of your crown is worrying.
After examining your hairline I can't see anything major concerning.
Which is making me more suspicious that a problem in from within you.
Get your bloods checked again, spread concern to a professional.
Could be a thyroid problem.

But till then best wishes for the future!
Hope it gets better.

Good luck
