Hey guys im back, i wanted to ask a serious question here:

Does anybody on finasteride feel like ther'ye a bit buzzed? Like your a tiny bit high or at the very beginning stages of when your drinking? I swear i feel a bit high or buzzed on Propecia and im dead serious. It also feels like they're is a vale covering up my brain and my normal self. I know i said this before but i wanted to see if anybody is experienceing the same thing.

Would supplementing 5 grams of Gaba before bed help solve these problems? It's like my brain is clogged up. Beleive me guys this aint a "mind" thing and its not my imagination. I've only felt like this when i stated taking finasteride just recently. I used to smoke weed for a while at a time in my life and i've quit for over 2 years now but it kinda feels like im burning out like when your buzz from the weed is wearing off and you feel burnt out and all foggy. This sh*t friggin sucks! I mean my hair is doing better but now i dont feel normal and it sucks. I tried taking finasteride before bed last night and today i feel even MORE brain fog. I literally feel slightly buzzed.

I heard this could have something to do with finasteride reducing Gaba production or something like that so i was wondering if supplementing with Gaba would get rid of these side effects im having. Oh yeah ejaculations are definetly not as powerfull as before but i can live with that for a little while and hopefully it will pass. But is there anything else i can take or supplement to get rid of these brain fog side effects that im having?

Please anybody who can help me out with this one and who really know's a lot about how finasteride chemically works i'd really appreciate it. I dont wont to lower my dosage and risk losing hair. There has to be a way around this i hope.

Since the second year on Propecia when I began to lose feeling in my penis and left leg I haven't felt much of anything.

I noticed that my mind was foggy when I first started taking it. I was also super lazy and didn't have the energy to do a lot of things. I think I'm just sensitive to the drug and I'm super jealous of all the people here that have zero sides. It got better after a couple of weeks though.

How long have u been on finasteride for?

BTW, I'm now on a lower dosage: 0.25mg/day and everything seems to be a lot better.

hi stax,

i nearly exact feel in the same way. i felt these sideefects about 7 months after starting 1,25 mg finasteride/d. since a few weeks i have really problems in my jop. focussing und concentration ist sometimes very difficult. also a slight depression is on its way. yesterday morning after reading mony posts in different forums i began to split the proscar tab into 8 peaces. so i took the reduced dose of 0,625 since 2 days. i cant believe it but i really fell better. the slight depression is continuing, but concentration is better und fogging almost gone. I would strongly recommand to reduce your dose und would be very interested in your results. btw: how ist my english in the ears for you english mother-language-speaker?

Hey guys, i've been on finasteride for almost 2 months now but about 3 weeks ago i didnt take finasteride for 4 or 5 days and this is when i realized what this drug made me feel like. You dont really notice it too much untill you stop taking the drug. Anyways im trying to take it just before bed and see how that goes for a little while. I really dont want to reduce my dosage and risk not getting the full benifits of finasteride. I just hope Stem cells or some really effective topical treatment comes out soon so i can drop this drug. I dont see how something as powerfull as reducing most of your DHT can still allow you to feel like your normal self.
Anyways guys so do you think supplementing Gaba will help? I heard these side effects we're having could be due to finasteride reducing Gaba or not converting something to Gaba in our brain. Anybody?
