for about two weeks now when I virgously shake the top of my hair into the sink I’m seeing very short dark shedded hairs. My hair on top is at least one to two inches long and longer in some places. but more than 50% of the hair I’m seeing shedded appear to be a fraction of that length. Some even look like little specs of hair which would only make sense if I was buzzed which I’m not. And i haven’t even had a hair cut in 4 weeks. I’m 5+ months into finasteride which to date has only caused an acceleration in hair loss all over my head from the forelock to the crown. No idea where these short hairs are coming from. Is this regrown hair which has now shedded? What the f***?

Any idea what that means? Based on their very short length these hairs are newer and appear to be healthy but are shedding. Maybe I’m being pessimistic but I can’t see that being a good thing. All visual evidence points to my belief that finasteride has totally fucked my hair.
