Hard to say because of the interaction of so many dependent pathways involved in increasing muscle mass. And depending on that, it could also increase estrogen which would offset the T's effect. For example, if you take testosterone cypionate injections (assume normal T levels, but suboptimal free T) you will see increases in muscle mass, libido, erectile function. But if you take clomiphene which increases LH/FSH and stimulates your body's endogenous production of T, you will get optimal T, and free T. But also, skyrockets estrogen, lowers libido and erectile function, with minimal increase in muscle mass.

yes you have more testosterone but you are killing almost all DHT...and we know dht is a powerfull hormone especially for the strenght. almost any oral steroid like stanozolol dianabol oxy ecc they are all dht derivate.

Yes I should lose strength in theory but even though i take 1 to 1.5mg dutasteride daily I have not experienced anything like fatigue, laziness or decrease in motivation as people say. I’m proud how my bench press is improving.

DHT itself is not useful for muscle building because of the enzyme 3a-hsd found in muscle tissue (converts dht to 3a-androstanediol which is a weak androgen), other dht derivative steroids aren't affected by this enzyme

any DHT that is formed, or that is already present in the blood and travels to the muscle, is quickly deactivated by an enzyme called 3alpha-hydroxysteroid reductase (3a-HSD).

So at least as far as muscle is concerned, testosterone is the primary active androgen.

its a mouse study, we already know finasteride works differently in mice than it does in humans, for all we know 3a-hsd could be less present in muscle tissue in mice as it is in some other animals. couldn't really find any human studies to be fair though

These studies you’re posting are good but I don’t think using avodart changed my strength even slightly. My lifts are improving as time goes, if I had experienced something like loss of energy and power I would have switched to finasteride or stop using it.

I dont think you will lose strength since you are also increasing testo 20%..

How long have you have been taking Dutasteride and do you really take .1 to 1.5 daily? Is it working?
Any side effects?

It’s almost been 1,5 years that I started taking more than single dosage. Tried 1mg for a while then switched to 2mg for 3months in summer 2017 and got temple regrowth on it bro but didnt last long sadly. But im happy that im maintaining and getting some small regrowth here and there still.
No real side effects by the way I just have slower body hair regrowth and less oily skin which is a plus imo. just ball ache when I started with finasteride but thats very common I believe.

Yeah about gyno, i put on couple pounds last summer and made me quite paranoid about it since I generally store fat on those areas but since I lost those extra pounds and put on some lean mass around the chest area I know it was just fat. Never experienced something like a lump or tenderness even when i had more fat.

I know his concern man I was so paranoid about it when I had the extra fat. Gyno is nasty but its genetics if you get it or not.
