Does It Look Like finasteride Is Improving Or It's Just Getting Worse?

I've been losing my hair for about a year now and I started taking finasteride 1mg 30 days ago. These are pictures of my hairline although my hair is diffuse thinning all over the hairline seems to be the worst. You can see weak thin hairs and also thicker hairs that have been growing since before I started finasteride, but it also seems like there are a lot of new thick tiny hairs that look like have grown within 30 days. Does it look like finasteride is working or everything is just getting worse?

You better delete these photos before @buckthorn sees them. How do you feel about getting murdered by a random guy on the internet?

Anyway, jealous as f***. Good for you that you started this early. It's way to soon to tell if finasteride is doing anything, give it a few more months.

hahaha... Massive, you know me too well. OP, I will find you. Lock your f*****g door.

In my case Finasteride took around a year and a half before I saw some effect. This solution can really test the most patient and desperate hair loss sufferer. This is also the reason why I eventually resorted to hair transplant. It was not an easy decision either, but it was something that I just had to do given how my progress was looking. Some may already be happy with it, but I was looking for a more dramatic effect minus the side effects. The reports on how it caused erectile dysfunction is also one of the major factors why I was really pushed to go for surgery. I am not saying you should too, since this is not something you decide on a whim. However, should you even consider, be sure to find all the pertinent information. finasteride is fine, but if you want more bang for your buck, I would personally take the leap with surgery.

I am with you, Jacob22 diagnosed for androgenetic alopecia??????

But there are experienced people as michel sapin...

IMHO Use androgen altering meds with a healthy hair is wrong.

what are you saying armando? i dont blame finasteride , i know that if i could take duta i would have been a Norwood 1 forever.
but i am too sensitive and fina is my last weapon, but my male pattern baldness gene is too strong i guess.
But when i started i would have never ever thght i would go further a Norwood 2

And some pics of the gyno while he's it.
Isn't this the same guy who made a post about suicide over a NW3? Wouldnt Sureprise me if he took finasteride with a full head of hair.

Or was that someone else?

IIRC then yes he made a suicide thread, then later should I take steroids thread which ironically could only make his hair situatuon worse down the road.

I never said my hairline was bad I just said it seems to be getting the worst at the temples. It just seems to be diffusing all over. I used to have super thick hair but now I feel like I have lost 30% density atleast. I am positive it is male pattern baldness as I have a deep history of male pattern baldness in my family. I also never made a thread about suicide I have no idea what you are talking about.
