Does it matter if i apply Nizoral more than i should???

Currently i am taking Nizoral and Fincar to tackle my receding hairline. I take my Fincar (1/4) every night between 9-11, usually closer to 9 if am not out partying. I am not as uptight when it comes to applying my Nizoral. Sometimes i apply my Nizoral every day and then other times once every two or three days, but i i always keep it in a 3 day radius.

I was wondering if this variation in the days i apply would hinder my "results"???

I dont think you should do that . five minutes is enough .

ive achieved some sucess, so im not going to stop it... if its has anti-androgen effects and lowers dht to a degree... then let it soak in there for maximum effect... thats my motto...

It has been said that the scalp's maximum absorption is reached during the first 5-10 mins for any topical application being used. look into that.

I have made the mistake of leaving nizoral for too long.

For 3 days my scalp was incredibly itchy and raw.

I will never leave in for more than 10 minutes again

Well, so you're saying we should leave all topicals on our heads for 5-10 minutes? incl. minoxidil? Sorry, but that's nonsense in my eyes.

For the last 3 weeks I have been using nizoral 2% each night religiously and leaving it on for 5 mins each night (time it each time) without a single problem or side effect.

Will try for 10 min per session see how my skull takes it. But in the mean time I love the way nizoral makes me skull feel and my hair is soo much fuller in the morning
