Does Lee's spironolactone leave any visible residue?

So does it leave any visible residue after drying? I shave my head and don't wear a cap, so just wanna know before ordering.

Hey KielMk, I have heard it smells very bad. Is this till the case even after it dries? Is it something that someone with a shaved head could rub over the entire scalp or would you end up buying a sh*t load of it?

its doesnt smell at all. i think it can when applied with other things but i used to use with minoxidil and i didnt notice anything.

you dont need much. just a light film.

I have a very close shaved head and also use spironolactone cream. It leaves no residue at all and I have never had any sent from it at all, even mixed with minoxidil.

I cover the top of my head and don't get through loads of it.

It has definitely slowed down my shedding at my hairline. That is the only place I apply the stuff. Dr. Lees 5% spironolactone does not smell at all.

I've only been using the liquid for a couple of weeks and noticed a big difference in my shedding. I feel like it's working pretty well for me. I only use it at night because I have longer hair, and it sort of smells a little bit. Nothing horrible though.

Yes, spironolactone keeps DHT from binding to the hair follicle and is used to maintain. I use it as a replacement for finasteride.

I use both. finasteride seems to work good on the crown so I use spironolactone to try and keep my hairline intact and temples.

Does anyone have any research to show how much DHT spironolactone blocks? If it would be comparable to using finasteride. then I would much rather rub something on my head than take a pill...

Wholesalehairproducts.com sells it the cheapest, at about $20-somethin bucks per jar. But Genhair.com's version, which is arguably a better version, is priced at $30 per jar, but they only sell a 3-jar supply (which is priced at $90). If you would like to apply spironolactone to more than just your temples/hairline, I'm reluctant to recommend it since it's going to be a bit inconvenience to use. It doesn't leave the hair greasy though. I apply spironolactone about 30 minutes or so after I apply the foam. But you can apply it anytime after the foam dries.

My hairline and temples are a problem. I'm dealing with more diffuse thinning with some areas worse hit. So then topical spironolactone probably wouldn't do anything unless it is for hairline or temples?

What about applying spironolactone 30mins or so after using Revivogen? Does anyone know if that is okay? Is wholesale the best place to buy it from if you're going to use it only on hairline?

I can't really tell if spironolactone has helped to be honest, but never really give it a chance.

spironolactone is meant to work well with revivogen. no need to even wait 30 mins, some people put spironolactone in their revivogen.
