hi all,
just to introduce myself i am 26yr old male from asian background (indian).
i have never experienced any form of hair loss, hair thinning or blading of any sort. my family does not suffer from male pattern baldness, both my father and brothers are fine, my grandfather only started to suffer when he was very old.

i've been experiencing hair loss for the last 4 months i think.. it never really bothered me as i know naturally we shed hair anyways but it wasn't until my aunite made a comment that i was going thin at the front did i realise i was losing a lot more hair than normal.
now my hair is quite limp and weak and i've noticed it in my hands when styling or applying wax... and especially when taking a shower.

based on what i've read my question is, is it normal for male pattern baldness to occur on one side. mine is on the left and if you look at my pics you can see.

i've been to the doctors and he just prescribed me some nizoral.. any advice would be appreciated.
thanks

You have male pattern baldness, which might have been hidden in your genes if no one else seems to have it.

It's obviously temples/top and I see hair miniaturization. Hop on Finasteride and maybe minoxidil.

I think its possible on one side. My right side receded more than my left, im guessing this is because I always sleep on the right side. Yes you should get on finasteride and minoxidil ASAP!
