does minoxidil work as well for women as it does for men?

just wondering what you think about this.

Does minoxidil work as well for women as it does for men, all other factors being the same?

I would think that theoretically, minoxidil should work even better for women, as it doesn't work on bald areas, and women's hair loss tends to be more diffuse so women don't tend to develop bald areas.

Any ideas?

Couldn't give you a completely definitive answer but one thing to take into account is woman's minoxidil concentration tends to be 2%, while mens is 5%. A higher concentration usually leads to better growth.
