Does Taking Dim Increase Dht And How Much Does It Decrease Estrogen Levels?

Hey all,

I'm getting on finasteride and am worried about the increase in estrogen from more testosterone being converted to estrogen. I want to take DIM to lower estrogen levels but worry that would mean more testosterone just being converted back to dht. Anyone have any insight into this?

Don't worry about DHT if you're on finasteride.

Your body makes DHT via five alpha reductase. If you choke 5alpha, you choke DHT.

But couldn't dht still increase? Since finasteride doesn't get rid of all dht? Or if im cutting 50% vs 60% does it not really make a difference?

It gets rid of the type of DHT that hurts hair very efficiently. Don't be concerned if DHT drops by 62 or 64%, that won't matter.
