Does this look funny?

Hi, I need your honest opinion. I try to camouflage my thinning with toppik, but I'm worried that it looks too obvious. My gf always tells me that it looks fine...but you know how that goes. Any comment is much appreciated, and recommendations are welcomed even more.

Thanks!

It looks pretty convincing to me. It's hard to tell where you used it.

Thanks yada! I get paranoid when people glance up there. My body language is probably the worse give away.

It might be more interesting to see your hair without the "camouflage".Only if you are comfortable sharing that with us.

Thanks guys for the positive feedback, i feel better now. It's a pain to apply toppik every time, but I can't leave home without it.

@Walker, I will post without toppik soon. I always have it on during the work week.

@CaptainForehead, Yes i do dye. I'm about 35-40% grey. My last dye was 3 weeks ago. It sucks when the grey roots grow out, it makes the hair look even more thinned out.

What is your regimen doing for you in terms of improving your M.P.B.? Thanx for sharing.

Propecia 1mg ED and minoxidil 2X/day are working pretty good for me. I've been on my regimen for 11 months now. I had the best result at 4 months where I can almost go without toppik. After that I went through a big shed for about 2.5 months. Things seems to be growing back slowly now. I'm diffused pretty bad so the toppik really helps.

I'm afraid to hangout at clubs because i've read that toppik sometimes glows under UV light. Has anyone here experienced that or not?

I replied this earlier, but for some reason that post is not showing up. Yes i do dye. The last dye was 3 weeks ago. I'm 35-40% grey. The grey roots kills the density because the hair looks transparent.

Fine coif. Can't see anything suspicious at all. Good job, bro.
Thanks for the positive feedback!

The hairdye is making your "do" seem a bit unnatural. Its too black. Maybe some hair expert can give you advice.
It can perhaps be fixed by using some hair gel product, I dunno. As such it too black and too dry. It might be worth a visit to a salon

I agree, it is too dark. I dye it dark brown but for some reason ever since i started minoxidil the color turns jet black. I do need to visit the salon. Thanks for the honest advice CaptainForehead.

I have mine done in a salon to beat grey. It helps alot with the thickness too. Never cheap out, though.

I dread going to a salon, but i guess it's a must. I can't find a salon with private booths around my area. :(

Travel if you must. Mainly for the first visit to get their advice. Once they tell you the tricks, then you can do it on your own.

Amen to that Brother Nostro. On the other hand I look forward to the glorious day when I can finally meander into any barber shop/hair salon of my choice in broad daylight, just to have my thick and tangled full head of hair professionally serviced and styled to my preference. I am tired of my Remington clippers and singularly limited and unflattering buzz cut.

I sometimes have dreams of that nature...a wonderfully liberating feeling...wish i didn't have to wake up each time.

let's hope, one day, all the hairloss enterprises will shut down due to the fact that the hairloss cure (or 99% effective continuous treatment) is found

Conversely, I dream of the day when *all* men become bald by age 15.
And just like that, discrimination against baldites will be over.
