Does This Look Like Androgenetic Alopecia Miniaturization Or Telogen Effluvium Regrowth?

Hey all, this is probably the eleventy billionth "Is it male pattern baldness or Telogen Effluvium????!!!" thread on this forum (I should know, I think I've read about all of them on my google crusade), but my situation is different from others' that I've seen described. In short:

-Began to notice something was weird about my hair in late 2015 (16), but didn't notice any extra shedding or lost of thickness. It seemed like my hair was developing a new cowlick.
-Began to notice receding alongside my temples, as well as a widening, permanent part where I would part my hair with a comb. Today, if I try to comb my hair completely forward, you can still see the part, as if it was a line was shaved into the side of my head.
-Fast forward to mid-2016, began to notice aggressive shedding across entire scalp. Hairs are long (over 2 inches) and in telogen phase.
-Began to notice hair loss around the ears (retrograde alopecia?)
-Begin to notice that new hair follicles are less thick than they use to be.
-Entering 2017, began to get noticeable headaches that would often require me to lay down for them to pass.
-Mentioned symptoms to a friend in training to become a nurse, said I might be anaemic, suggested taking supplements and to book a dermatologist appointment.
-Book dermatologist appointment in November 2017, began taking supplements
-From November 2017 to April 2018, began to notice fine, pigmented hairs growing alongside temples in areas that had previously been slick bald for 6 months to a year
-Go to appointment April 30th 2018

The supplements I'm taking are: 107mg of iron daily, 300mg of biotin, a men's multivitamin, 50mg of zinc, 3000iu of Vitamin D3. Nothing I'm taking is specifically intended for hair loss.

Here's my left temple(you can see the line where I parted my hair here):

And here's my right:

My dermatologist wasn't sure what to make of my situation, performed a pull test, and said that he couldn't say for sure since the situation could have already been resolved due to self-treatment, said that I "was definitely regrowing hair" along the temples (when I showed him these photos during the meeting) and advised a wait-and-see approach.

Anyways, my question is, to those of you with Androgenetic Alopecia/male pattern baldness, does this look similar to the miniaturization you've experienced? People that have experienced Telogen Effluvium, does this look similar to the regrowth you've had?

If you noticed receding than it is most likely male pattern baldness. Did you used to have a near female hairline as in rounded corners. Seems like you are no more than a NW1 at this point.

I had a straight hairline with a widow's peak

hard to tell. you made the picture super close to above your temples, according to community members on this forum I'm a NW2+ ish or something and at face value your current condition looks better than mine but I can't tell for sure.

Doesn't look like recession...people actually thin for many reasons and it grows back through their lives they just don't notice. It becomes a problem when you notice.

you've got a mini widow's peak like a little downward arrow right in the center the kind you get when you're born with it, you don't even have any temple recession at all tbh. don't even worry about it you're a solid Norwood 1, definitely better than my NW2-ish zone....

I see some mini hair into the second picture right temple. Is that regrow or miniature?

Thanks all for your posts

Not sure. I checked my hairline every other day or so since I began to have issues and I never saw regrowth there until I began to take the supplements I listed in the original post. That being said, I haven't seen any noticeable further growth in that area since the beginning of April.
