Look at your close relatives.
For my father's side, almost all the males are bald or have male pattern baldness. For my mother's side, all thick hair. My brother has very thick hair as well. I've always had fine hair when it came to strand thickness, so this (what's shown) isn't really that different. I might be the same, I just never really looked into it before and figured now would be a good time.
