Emperor Palpatine was the good guy of the Star Wars story, the Rebellion were the bad guys.

Democratic bodies tend to provide worse governance than absolute monarchies. Kings effectively own the capital stock of the society, and have incentives to preserve and enhance the value of said capital stock in the long term.
On the other hand, elected politicians are temporary and interchangeable caretakers who don't own the capital stock. Their incentive is to consume the capital and to effectively loot the society as much as they can while they are in office.
Another incentive problem is that voters in democracies don't have good incentives to be well informed and to vote for good politicians due to a tragedy of the commons type problem. In practice, voters gravitate to politicians who are photogenic, who have demagogic appeal, and who reaffirm beliefs that are fashionable in the voter's social circles.
Furthermore, monarchs provide societies with far more unified governance and thus don't engage in the kinds of wasteful and schizophrenic policymaking so characteristic of democratic assemblies.
Further, an important advantage of monarchy is that monarchs can receive wise counsel with secrecy, but a democratic assembly cannot.

Overall, undoubtedly a Sith monarchy would have led to a galaxy that is more prosperous, more secure from crime, more peaceful, more oriented towards important long-term goods, and just overall a much nicer place to live than democratic assemblies run by demagogues.

Someone could object: But Palpatine seized power violently and illegally!

But so did the rebels. Undoubtedly, they violated the law of the Galactic Empire. That their rebellion was violent and directly led to the loss of innocent life should be uncontroversial.

You could say But Palpatine started!

Really? So the Galactic Republic just sort of existed, and then he came and started sh*t? I'm gonna say citation needed. I bet that if you go back in time far enough, you will find that the Galactic Republic displaced earlier political orders, and that said displacement had quite a bit to do with violence.

He was just about to become the ideal Aryan that Hitler always had wet dreams about. But baldness caught him at the finishing line and led him to join the ranks of the untermenschen instead

Well if you were to find someone constantly talking about chad this, chad that, then it could be considered tragic. Speaking for myself here, but I have an extremly low number of posts talking about looks here. I have the feeling that the looks topic triggers some people more than anything else.

As for you, checking your post history for 30 seconds I found this:

" he isn't a chad, I even read an interview with one of the models and she said they had very little interaction"

Not only you talk about him not qualifying as chad, but also went as far as reading interviews that were related to him to find out more about his success with women. But it is interesting that you won't be so quick to judge or insinuate your own behaviour as an homosexual one, right?
I didn't go out of my way to read that interview, I just randomly came across it

I'm not even saying it's homosexual, just suggesting that maybe just maybe y'all are not in the best position to judge male attractiveness, you sound extremely insecure for this post LMAO

Male attractiveness has a lot of factors and some of them remain mysterious, it's never 100% some robotic calculation made out of A.I. of how pronounced one's jawline is, skin elasticity and hair quality lol

When straight men online try to assume what women like they either post those super tryhard roided bodybuilders that most women actually cringe at, or those early 20's male models who are prettier than a girl (clear bias due to being a straight male), it was just an observation and it's funny.

There was no reason for my post to trigger someone this much.

@justinbieberscombover the lack of consistency demonstrated in those posts is far from triggering me, or make me feel insecure. It has no relevance to me whatsoever, I've got much more important things to worry about.

DD
There is no lack of consistency, rather a lack of understanding from your part.

You are not objective, and your view of my posts is distorted and limited.

If only you were not to criticize a behaviour that you yourself have no issues in displaying then I could definitely agree.
You're either depressed (thus take things too seriously) or should work on your social skills/comprehension of social situations.. if someone told a similar joke irl and you would start calling them out like that, people would think you have issues that you're repressing and gossip about you behind your back later.

Is no one going to mention the fact that the protagonist of this thread hasn't even replied yet?
