At least not until you cut a strand of hair off your head, and hold it up to your body hair in different places to look at the color, curl, and density differences.
I just learned today that the hair on my calves is just as thick as my donor hair on my head. It is also pretty straight, unlike my chest hair. And it is an exact color match, well, judging from hair to hair comparisons. I counted the density, estimated total calf surface area, and realized I could fill in my entire NW4 area to full density down to a perfect NW1 and have calf hair left over. I bet NW7's could be dense NW1's if they used all their body hair. Many of these thin transformations did not use all of it.
And I don't think anyone will be looking at my calves up close. Women check out calves from 2-3 feet away at closest. Often if they really want to admire legs, it would be the upper legs they would be looking at.
So I don't have to thin my back and sides at all. No more scalp hair donations for me. I wish I had done nothing but calf BHT from the start, though I don't think it was as advanced back then. I'll fill in my donor scar, fill in the thin spots near my ears and in front of them, lower my hair line, fill in all the gaps, do my eyebrows, and fill in beard gaps. And I'll do low density tranplants of 5-15 hairs per cm2, so I don't get too much shock loss. I'll go very 6 months for the next 2 years till it is done.
Propecia, Nizoral, and Pirocotone olamine are good enough to keep my hair. And I risk nothing when I don't use scalp donor hair. Easy life, here I come. Just got to make the money now. But I'll tell my laser techs to stop lasering the calfs and just do everything else.
My forearm hair would work too, but it is a much higher visibility area. Women would often see it from almost a foot away, and so would I, even closer, and it would bother me. So just calves. My upper legs also work, but women might care about tiny dots down there. The rest of my body hair is too curly. My back of neck hair is perfect, but high visibility. I feel good knowing I won't use front of neck hair to fill in my beard, since front of neck is also high visibility. Nope. I'm lasering off my front of neck. And electrolysis for stray eyebrow hairs, so I always have the perfect shape and just have to trim the longer calf hair each week.
