Never heard of him. Ask Damo who lives in Australia, he might give you some feedback mate.

has anyone used this guy? thanks

Hi I'm only just joined up. I have had a precedure with Con. So far I am happy. had it done back at the end of January this year. 1500 grafts some hair coming through though this could be shockloss hair growing back but it is starting to look as my wife say's "bushy" so I am not quite sure if this is also hair transplant hair but it has only been 2.5 months since the procedure. I did get some shockloss in the recipient site and around the strip scar which I am most concerned about. Scar is narrow but red, just lost hair on the underside of scar which i hope will grow back. i am going to ask about this on the forum, but all in all the procedure was painless a so far so good. hope this helps.

thanks mick, sounds like it`s early days for you. 1500 doesnt sound like a very big hair transplant. did you choose to go for such a small amount?

good luck and let us know how its going once in a while - much appreciated

I actually wanted 2000 and paid for that but after it was done Con said he could only do 1500 and then they gave me a refund for the diff. i think the reason was that my hair is fine and that was the most that he could do without stretching my scalp too much and end up with a stretched scar. I think he was just being cautious which i suppose that's what you want. still I was disappointed as I wanted this to be the last one. Con seems to think for me that this will be a huge improvement maybe one more just for a bit more density. I will have to wait and see. Hope this helps mate.

That's the good thing about these forums you can find out so much info but at the end of the day you got to make up your own mind. having said that I think the FUG are well worth it but there are failures which is always a worry but if their is anything else that I maybe able to help with please ask.

hey guys.

Do yourself a huge favour and stay well away from the place. I've seen several peices of Barry Whites work and its absolutly horrid compared to what you'll get from some of the O/S docs like H&W.

Save the cash and go to vancouver.

No I don't think so Gill. Dr Constantine Hatzis does them now. I know so people have had some bad results with Barry White. and i am not trying to defend the man as I don't even know him, but I have been on a lot of forums and web sites and have read so much about failures from even the top Docs. Everyone is different and we all heal different, so sometimes the results aren't what we expect, I have read where people's grafts did not even grow after their first hair transplant, then the Doctor gave them a second and still no growth, but then a third and it worked, all from the one Doctor. Some with wide scarring but as i have read from a leading Doctor and I do not wish to mention names here but he even stated that this type of thing can be caused by the patients themselves without even realising that they are doing themselves harm, such as lifting weights, situps, jogging or just generally stretching their scar without realising soon after a hair transplant, but the Doctor gets the blame and some people go out of their way to make sure they do. Sure there are some bad Docs out there but there are so many things that can go wrong and so many variables that sometimes I think it is hit or miss senario. All I can say is that I am now post op 3 months and my hair is really starting to come through and my scar is good and i think my shockloss is starting to come back in around the donor area, so far so good so i am happy and Barry White taught Dr Constantine Hatzis (So I beleive, could be wrong) so what can u make of that?. Could It have been any better from a leading Doctor from Overseas, I guess I will never know, could it of been a disater as well, we'll never know. This is only my opinion and I have done so much reading on so many web sites because as we wait patiently for our growth the doubt is in the back of your mind that it is going to fail and i think this would still happen even if I had the so called best doing the hair transplant on me..

Aussiemick,

Well I'm happy to hear that you're doing well at three months post-op. You should be seeing more and more growth every month now.

What you say is very true regarding the biological and physiological differences between patients but I can tell you this. The long term reputable surgeons performing ultra-refined methods have extremely high rates of success with their patients. A large part is due to the pre-screening of patients and their current and past medical conditions and they do not perform procedures on those individuals who do not make good hair transplant candidates.

They consider the entire picture and their forms ask about these issues including healing issues, deficiencies in auto-immune systems, current meds and treatments, etc.

I know what you mean about unethical docs because there are some that will do surgery on just about anyone who has money to spend. That's why it is so critical for patients to do their homework first and not just jump into the OR room.

Absolutley correct mate. Yer I can hardly wait another couple of months. Isn't funny, you wait and wait to see it come through because you think it may not, then you see it coming through then you start to think oh is it going to get thicker and more of it or isn't. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh the worry never ends. Hahahahahahahah. Talk to you soon mate.
