I am going to try Dr Lee's AM solution for work days and to see if I can kick my scalp irritation 100% by not using a stronger PPG solution for all of my minoxidil apps.

http://www.minoxidil.com/scripts/webcar ... =minoxidil

Is item #540 the correct one to order? I was going to order 3 bottles. Considering I just ordered Rogaine on sale, and with what I have right now, I will not have to worry about minoxidil now until August 2005 :)

Another thing, the Rogaine dauber is so horrible, I have been using old Walgreens generic bottles, those things are starting to wear out. Will Dr lee sell some empty bottles of minoxidil with a dropper? If so, how much? I want to transfer my vast supply of Rogaine into a usable form unlike that piece of garbage Rogaine provides us.

Cassin,

I'd suggest ordering his basic 5% minoxidil and give that a shot first. #500 for a single pack, or #503 for a three pack. This solution has 30% PPG as opposed to Rogaine's 50%.

#540 is PPG free, and uses I believe glycerin instead of PPG. If you are really bothered by the PPG then you could move to this.

Maybe if you called Dr Lee, after placing your order, he might be able to send you an empty dropper bottle and ship it with the order? I like the Dr Lee droppers, they are pointy and have a small caliber that is easier to control. He sends a new dropper with each order.

Yep. You are really going to like it for the am applications.

It is noticeably thinner than Rogaine, more alcohol-like in consistency. The down side is that the thinness of the solution makes it a tad more prone to drips and runs than Rogaine. But, since it dries so quickly, if you just keep still for a few minutes after application it will set.

I still prefer the way that Rogaine feels on the scalp, it has more of a coating sensation... but when you are in a hurry to get out the door, the Dr Lee stuff is FANTASTIC.

Excellent. Good to hear. I have been getting sloppy with my aps as of late and I think I am using irritation as one of the excuses way to much. So I will give ol item # 503 a shot.

I imagine it runs like the 2% I used to use. I used to shake my head like a wet dog to spread it on my scalp. LOL! It really did work.

Again, thanks Gardener.

Afte this order I will now have spent nearly $200 for a years worth of minoxidil....oh well. Helloooooooooo Mr Vanity.
