Hi there,
I am still deciding which would be the best route to take for a topical maintainence regimen for the frontal areas. I have been taking a long time with this, since treatment is such a big commitment once you begin. I'm currently only using spironolactone 5%, which i will definately use in my regimen, it just makes me feel ok about doing something whilst im still deciding.
However recently i've been looking into dr proctor's products. http://www.drproctor.com and i came across proxiphen and proxiphen-n and i was wondering about people's experience with these were? I know Bryan maintained and regrew over 2 years just using nano and the over the counter prox-n, but has anyone else had results?
Im looking into the prescription proxiphen, which, though very expensive, looks like it would be the perfect solution for me. Once a day topical, like revivogen, but surely more effective (i dont place much faith in revivogen)
One thing that bothers me is how long proctor has been around. Mostly this comforts me... but if proxiphen was so effective why hasnt it revolutionised hair loss treatment over the last 20 years? (this same argument applies to revivogen, only far more so...)
One possible reason i believe is the huge amount of different active ingredients in proxiphen, which would surely make everyone respond differently... and the price of course
Anyway, i was just looking for opinions on proctors products. I know Dr Lee is regarded as far superior, but he doesnt have anything appealing as proxiphen for my situation.
Thanks a lot,
Felk
