Is Follica really just a group that we know next to nothing about....and yet they have the packaging ready for their product???

I would not say that really I think we know a lot about them

Both the Dr involved and that it is a wounding treatment for neogenesis.

we just dont know the details of when available and where how much etc or the 'rain' part which seems to be an at home follow up treatment.

I feel like 2017 is just going to be long and empty and then 2018 we will have more answers on a lot of these treatments..I hope i am wrong and we get more information this year.

I would like to think so, too. I would also hope that a company that has the packaging all planned out for their product can, at least, demonstrate in some remotely discernible way how (in theory) it works, or give a general idea. Just seems weird to me that they're all prepped for marketing, all set to go on an at-home app, but haven't given any hints as to how it will work, aside the obvious wounding and application of a topical. Bunch-a c****.

Again, nobody actually cares about how it works aside from us. It's no surprise they're keeping data between them and the powers that be. All we know is that a combination of skin disruption and topicals are employed.

However frustrating, it's perfectly reasonable that they just keep the details to themselves. If they have a working treatment, it's in their best interest to focus on making it attractive to consumers and spreading the word.

Because at the end of the day, "does it work, when can I get it and how much" is all we really give a sh*t about

I think that if this really works and when they are ready to release it, they will have a press conference and no matter how annoyed we might have been for the lack of information before release, we and many others will buy their product. The general media will happily write about a new hair loss treatment, and I am pretty sure news about a product that works will spread like wildfire, even without a big marketing budget. So, at the end of the day, why should follica or any of the other companies care about giving us information unless they need funding (which Follica already has through PureTech)?

But in regards to them being all prepped for a launch, I think they have to be close, with the new website, ramped up twitter activity, doctors / partners portal and doctors tweeting about the product with packaging. Maybe they will say more about progress in todays presentation from PureTech Health...

Not at all. The doctor leading the company is very well known and respected when it comes to the hair loss world and was the one who proposed a few years back a theory on PGD2 being the underlying cause of hairloss. Wounding also has studies behind it showing its effects on hair growth.

Why is nobody talking about the important stuff like the puretech presentation yesterday? did you follow the webcast?

Who watched the presentation and what did they say about Follica? new information?

You need a username and password to get into the presentation to see it that's why cause none of us can even access it
