I picked up a copy of “The Big Issue†today and found that it included an interview with Scottish entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne, currently a pundit on “The Dragons' Denâ€.

Relevant extract goes something like this:

Q: You’re very open about your hair weave...
A: It’s not a weave
Q: What is it?
A: Follicle transfers [a very precise and costly hair replacement procedure].
Q: Did you do it because image is important in business, or vanity?
A: I think [image] is very important in business, one of the most important things. I got it so I’d look better. I wanted to look better. Who doesn’t?

---------------

Not sensational, but anyway "one of us".

When I watched the programme I’d never have guessed he had anything done -- but I wonder if he had an island of hair to build the work round to start with? It certainly explains his glowing testimonial on the Farjo site.
The Farjo pictures there and in the major gallery at
http://www.hairtransplantnetworknetwork.com look good, but some are puzzling given the relatively low numbers of grafts involved.

I have watched dragos den and had no idea duncan bannantyne had any work done on his hair ,the only thing i suspected was that he dyes his hair but maybe not as it's not his own.

Regarding farjo ,do not even consider these for any transplant, they are years behind the likes of armani, hasson and wong and dr rahal, all canadian doctors i may add. They did "barry" from eastenders transplant and it looks awful ,so imagine the standard of work they would do on joe public. Also they only transplant at 40fu per cm maximum where as the doctors across the atlantic go up to 100fu per cm.

Luck, your hair transplant looks great and a few more months you will have a great hairline.

I went to Dr Rogers for consultation and opinions say he's the best in the UK. Is Feller in Canada?. What did it cost roughly and what made you decide on him?

I'm on finasteride but hair is not stable yet so will wait before I consider hair transplant.

I don't think 'Barry' s hair looks bad considering he's tried to create a full head of hair from only around 3000 grafts...he was a NW4-5 I would say so that's a lot to cover. He could do with an additional hair transplant. Keiran's is not too bad but I think less impressive than Barry's as he had much less hairloss. I think Farjo did those himslef and jo public get only half a job by him and big part by nurses and maybe that's why he's not so good. He does 2 ops a day and Rogers only does one.

I didn't know he'd had surgery either, I love that show.
