I've used it for four years. I had sexual side-effects for the first three months or so, which then gradually faded until they were completely gone after six or seven months. The side-effects included loss of libido, erection difficulties, and scrotum pain. I seem to remember I had increased tiredness too. All these sides went away eventually. My opinion is that if you are experiencing early side-effects on dutasteride (or finasteride), you should persevere with the treatment as I did, because there is a good chance the sides will lessen or fade completely over time as your body adjusts to the change in hormone levels. The human body is very good at adjusting to changes, but it takes time. Perseverance is the key.
