Hair looked good in previous photos. I thought the slight recession actually looked kind of cool. Curious to see new photos, including crown area.

Thanks a lot HB, really happy to see its working. Im currently just into my 3rd month of dutasteride.

Two questions for ya (sorryyyy!!!)

- How has Avodart affected your hairline? Did you lose a lot and then gain? Did you lose anything at the hair line? Has your hairline remained the same?

- Secondly, is your hair better than it has ever been since youve started taking any medication ( including finasteride). I recall you saying 16 monhts of finasteride gave you best results. In other words How do the results you have now compare with your hair regrowth/stabilisation programme since you have started any kind of regiment?

Thanking you in advance.

dutasteride may have improved my hairline a little. I did however temporarily lose some of front when in shed. I would say my hairline is the same as on finasteride which had improved remarkably.

Yes, My hair is thicker than it ever was on finasteride. Hair is thicker everywhere. :punk:

H/b i've been on dr. reddys dutas for about 6 1/2 months. It's good to hear that someone else is having a positive reaction to the drug.

Arrrgh! I have been on Finpecia for just over 12 months and it has done my hair a lot of good. I'm wondering whether to order Dutas once my remaining finasteride runs out in a couple months time. Don't get me wrong, I'm really happy with my progress on finasteride and going on what you said about month 16 being the high point should I wait a bit longer on finasteride before I switch?

So tempting to switch early. It's the whole "things could be even better" thing.

:dunno:

Yes it's tempting to get greedy but bear this in mind... once your body grows immune to the dutasteride too, then what will you do? Other then hope and pray HM is available by that point!
