dutasteride and estrogen levels

Does dutasteride increase estrogen levels? Anyone ever checked the estrogen levels after taking dutasteride?

Both finasteride and dutasteride increase T level due to blocking of conversion of T do DHT. E however also increases to keep homeostasis.

There is also possibility that in some tissues like chest excess T is converted to E by aromatic enzyme.

So answer is YES. But that doesn't necessary mean you will have sides (gyno water retention) It depends on your body and sensitivity of your AR.

I guess i'll make some blood tests to check Estrogen levels and some other like DHT, Testosterone, Thyroid. I've been taking Avodart for some years and i never did those tests.

Are you feeling changes now after years of Advodart use? How many years has it actually been?
