Hi, can anyone link me to any examples of people who have had successful restoration of their hairlines using dutasteride, or even just finasteride? Already seen nickypoo and zeroheat's stories. Thanks.

Look in the success stories forums. Peabody comes to mine. Also there's the dutasteride twins. When you compare the twins look at their arms and tell me which one looks more manly. Dutasteride is pretty much the strongest oral anti androgen for hair loss and the side effects will most likely be worse than finasteride.

also look at their beard hair follicles. The dutasteride taking twin has his beard grown out a little longer but you can see it is scant. Where as the other twin has more follicles. They also have different chest hairs. Just saying that dutasteride and finasteride are feminizing drugs... Some women like feminine men like Johnny depp, and orlando bloom. What they really want is a mans man like charlton Heston and Clint Eastwood. Haha maybe not. But you know what I'm saying.

Well, that peapoddy guy had some good results at the crown, but he had to get a hair transplant for the hairline.

most of that was because he had already lost too much in the first place. Drugs will only keep the hairline that you have. And even then your hairline will probably recede. Drugs and all the hassel still wroth it?

It's worth a shot. And the earlier you catch it the better your odds. My hairline is no where near as bad as that guy's thankfully. Just some thickening of the very front hairs on the hairline is all I need to get my hair back to what it was just a year ago. Unfortunately, finasteride and dutasteride are the only things available. I'm thankful we even have those options.

LOLOLOLOL the dude maybe has a 100 more follicles on his than other guy. 100 hairs on head > 100 hairs on face just saying...

Dude if you check the site out his brother says that the twin taking dutasteride shaves his arms, so we can't be sure if it reduced his arm hair or not.

Also, his beard growth looks similar, so I don't see how you can say his growth went scant.

In terms of beard growth, there's still debate whether it depends more on testosterone or DHT. Some evidence points to test levels effecting the thickness whilst dht effecting the speed of growth.
