I was just curious as to those of you that are using dutasteride for your hair loss -- how did you get that prescription? Doctors still prescribe this medicine for hair loss even though it has yet to be formally approved? If not, where are you receiving the medication from?

I see you've had a couple of lengthy tries at taking Finasteride (generic & Propecia) but discontinued due to side effects - mood & libido issues. Well, if anything Dutasteride is a stronger compound, and one that sticks around in the body longer than finasteride., so approach with caution.
