Hi. This is kinda a random post but wanted to throw a couple things out there. I'm about 1 month into using Propecia. The one thing I noticed right away is that my scalp is more sensitive. It used to be if I brushed my hair, my scalp would feel dull and insensitive, almost numblike. Now, I cann realy feel the bristles or anything touching the scalp. It's like getting feeling back into it. I'm hoping this is an indicator I'll get good results.
Also, how many of you baldies are smokers?
I smoke, and I recently read smokers have about 13% higher DHT than non-smokers. Anyone ever quit smoking just for your hair? I think I'm going to.

I've never heard anything about smoking being related to DHT levels but if the possibility can make you stop smoking then you might as well go for it right? Also you might want to pick up some nizoral shampoo, once I started on propecia my scalp got quite a bit drier and I started getting dandruff, keep an eye on yours and pick up the nizoral if it gets dry....goodluck
