Effexor XR and hair loss?

I cant sleep and i'm depress and want to know if Effexor XR will cause hair loss? The doctor gave it to me and I hear some depress pill give you hair loss. I'm taking propecia.

just realize how many SO MANY people are on AD's.
the .1% of people that are affected r the only ones who post on this sh*t.

I think the lack of sleep/depression will be more detrimental in the long run, than effexor.

I been on Propecia for 28 months and had very good luck with it. I'm at Norwood 1.5 or 2. I don't want to take Effexor if its going to loss my hair. I was depress about that over 2 years ago.

I'm starting a new chapter in my life and I'm so f*****g scared. I was very lazy in college and going to work for 8 hours is scaring me too. Thats why I'm depress and I also have a family history of depress people on my mothers side.

I took effexor a long time ago. It helped me sleep in the beginiing but then it made me feel all druggy so I stopped it. Maybe you should get on a regular sleeping aid rather than an AD.

I started on Lexapro and my hair shed like crazy til I stopped taking it three months later.

I switched over to Effexor XR for SOD and like this better than anything I have taken. No hairloss or shedding eihter.

I've been taking Zoloft for 2 years now and I have not noticed any more considerable thinning or losing my hair as a result of it. I have heard many good things about Effexor.

I only took it once but didn't needed to take it anymore. I didn't feel depressed after that day. That was some f*** up week for me.

no very rare , i was on venlaxafine aswel never lost any hair, to be honest it is quite a good AD ,probably the most effective out of all of them,you can get a couple of niggling side effects with it, but it should help you out.
