Dr. Lee has said that it's fine to apply emu oil right after spironolactone, so I was wondering if this will be ok for revivogen too? It would certainly make my scalp happier..

You should be able to use emu oil after any topical. Just don't use it before anything as any topicals applied after emu oil will not be able to penetrate.

I wouldn't use it after Revivogen. Revivogen is greasy anyway, and putting emu oil on it would be a great mess. Besides, the fatty acids compounding the emu oil are similar and partially common to both products, so I don't see any real benefit you can gain by doing so.
I am not saying you musn't apply emu oil after Revivogen, I am just saying it won't be necesary.

I would use it after a particulary harsh topical like something that has a lot of PPG or alcohol. Revivogen is full of oils anyway so I don't think there would be any point in doing that. Besides you would be dripping with oil if you used both at the same time.

The fatty acids in Revivogen are in their "free" form, but the ones in emu oil aren't, so any similarity between the two is highly superficial.

I'd be afraid that the emu oil would interfere with the Revivogen. I'd separate them considerably in time.

the study with emu oil showed that corn oil was 80% as effective, and there was no untreated group to see if the participants just grew more hair because of the time of year. Maybe they were not balding that fast.

sometimes I'm tempted to get revivogen myself, but I'm way to cheap, if I can somehow make it.

I think that if anyone is using Emu oil in the hopes of growing hair, they're using it for the wrong reason. I use emu oil, but only after other topicals. From reading on it, it has very small molecules that are absorbed very easily. So it should sort of act like a battering ram to drive any other topicals into your skin.

Plus, it is great for your skin & is a pretty potent healing agent too. Many, many documented cases where emu oil treated wounds heal days quicker than without.

I may be biased since I have very short hair, so it's very hard for my hair to look greasy. In fact, I use emu oil in the AM before I go to work...I find that it helps to get rid of the minoxidil itch.
