mate, there is no standard regimen that every one can follow. Atleast, that has been my experience.
When I started treatment I thought I would get sides from finasteride and am safer or minoxidil. It turned out to be the opposite and I had to drop minoxidil.
What works for some one may not work for you. Peope have different types of hairloss and are at different stages on the norwood scale. Not to forget their ethnic background, eating habits etc.
The smart thing to do would be to try out the proven treatments for a year or so and then try a different approach if they don't work.
I know it would be a frustrating wait, but given the rate at which hair grows/cycles every few months, and the time needed to be given for treatments to work, there is no other option.
