E2 on scalp is subjective. Less oily because estrogel is alcohol based. I don't think E2 plays a role in AA. THe scalp of bald men contains less fat, however the application of estradiol gel is recommended on fatty areas like abdomen so absorption could be an issue.

Something i have to say is that even for a MTF-Tranny protocol, this hair reversal is still pretty amazing. Almost all MTF-Trannies regrow hair, but i dont think it happens this fast. The minoxidil prolly played some role in the speed of reversal

Okay Professor Eyebrow, thanks for stopping by and stating the obvious. So do other drugs that are not mentioned in the regimen of these transwomen. The solution is not a one stop shop, but more like a cocktail of stuff that end up somewhat working.

It is not obvious to me because i dont spend alot of time researching hair restoration on MTF-Trannies. Im sorry im not as much of a Tranny-Professional as you are

These vellous hairs and maybe few terminal are all ive got from 3 months of 2.5mg fina daily, 7 weeks of Duta 2x per week and daily minoxidl and 0.5mm dermarolling. Theres vellous hairs down to my NW0 hairline. Ive started Sprinolactone yesterday and am hoping for the best. Diffuse alopecia sucks sh&$.

Anyone know if ethynlestradiol from crushed oc-35 pills can have a topical effect if applied with minoxidl when dermarolling? I got some and dont want to take them oral lol

Why are you crushing pills when there are Estriol/Estradiol creams out there which would provide something more convenient? E needs to get into your blood to work (preferably thru fatty layer) so you can't imagine that stuff staying suspended in your cranium and just combatting DHT around your follicles, do you?

I think if you apply when dermarolling some would get absorbed no? I just want a local effect if possible and to minimise sides, if a little goes systematic so be it. Ill look into buying cream but dont think inhouse has any atm.

I think some folks tend to consider dermarolling as a way to inject liquid in their scalp and reach the follicles more easily. I have doubts that this theory will provide healthy results in the long run.

Microneedling frequently with result in keloid and scars on the scalp. For the same reason, microneedling below 1mm with create scars after some time with scalp tension. See the follica protocol that seems to give enough time to recover with light surface sessions and lots of hole density.

If you want to apply a solution to the scalp above a certain molecules weight, you will need to inject at specific depth (PRP, etc.)

I've seen some salons operating in a mode where they pump blood, extract plasma from crappy centrifuge devices not removing completely blood cells causing the opposite effect of growth, then spreading the palleted plasma on the scalp with dermapens for 5 minutes and calling it PRP. We are in a world where people can make a very decent living out of this practice (the salon is extending in other cities and they now have weeks of waiting list.)
