Ikarus uses 2mg estradiol. If using Estrogel, how many taps do I need to do to get 2mg of estradiol? Is 2 clicks enough? Estrogel is the cheapest and most convenient to use: I can just smear my forearms, one press on the right and left

Either put it on the scalp or scrotum where it is several times more potent. @bridgeburn used it on the scalp daily as do I. Does that work? We don't know exactly but if DHT is being synthesized in the scalp, it might make an important difference. Also doing this will help provide a scalp environment more like females and lower inflammation.

I'm sorry Janey, but I have to say that for others. Looking at your pictures you are far away from full recovery of your hair. People here take this hormone altering meds in hope of getting all their hair back, which is not the case all the time. I think that everyone that doesn't have a very severe hair loss should think before taking those meds beacuse a lot of people don't grow full hairlines back even with E2. I have seen that more times that actual recoveries.

I go through it carefully with a comb obsessively. I just don't take pictures of the back and sides. The front is still filling in but I can see all of the new hair which is coming in both terminal and blonde like my sisters. I assure you that I wouldn't say it if I didn't know it was true but of course @bridegeburn said that his temples never filled in completely. Anyone who does an extreme HRT program plus oral minoxidil would struggle not to recover completely but time will tell. They other thing is that I had a transplant that didn't take so my part reflects light because the skin is from the back of my head. Derma-rolling has healed a huge amount of scar tissue and made it viable again. I rarely talk about my transplant because it is too painful to acknowledge and admit and again, only after seeing the scar tissue melt away did I admit it to anyone.

But I will take your input into consideration and become even more obsessive about going through all of it with a comb ten times daily and now do it 20 times daily.

You shouldn't feel shame due to hair transplant. I am huge doctor Konior fan. He is master of hair surgery.

I got butchered with baby doll looking plugs later becoming exposed that only had a couple of hairs each. That's why to me, I would only recommend transplants as refinements or for people with extremely high unaffected fringe who are certain they are not scarrers. Derma-rolling is amazing for skin, hair and scars and I will tout it always.

I mean, this doctor removed viable hair to make room for the plugs so it was a horrible idea from day one. My fringe was already effected in terms of becoming frizzy and mullety. I later had a few refinements in front to try to hide the plugs but since I was on Min and then finasteride, it's hard to say how much came in. I can still see the circular grafts in a hand mirror but they have gotten more and more flush and are no longer cobblestoned. My donor area was sensitive for years and years. I was only 24 which was way too young but when you have a father with perfect hair you will do anything.
